You get what you ask for

Today is the day that I wind down my vacation. I have to say it has been a very relaxing one! Although it seems like FOREVER since I have seen all of you! We did alot of visiting with family while we were here! It's been a very fun vacation, and I have a feeling Hayden is going to throw a royal fight tomorrow when we have to leave his grammy and papa behind, but it won't be long and I am sure we will see them again soon!

So, I bet your wondering where I came up with my title: You get what you ask for!
When we booked our flight home I told my husband, and my in-laws that if we are going to come up this late in the year, and enjoy the "cooler" I mean FREEZING weather that I had to see snow! They laughed at me and said for your sake I hope we see it to, but it can go away after you've seen it! So, I told them it didn't have to be alot it could spit snow at me and I would be happy, and it did just that today! It's in the 30's and it did spit a little snow amongst the rain! How excited am I!

So I am here to tell you more often than you may think you get what you ask for!

See you guys soon,

xoxoxo,
Coleen

Bang bang deer papa!

Well, we finally made it to Missouri ! We arrived to our inlaws bright and early Tuesday morning! We left home about 3am monday morning! It took about 22 hours for us to get here, considering the fact that we have the boys with us, and that Hayden is now potty trained that isn't to bad of timing! The boys were for the most part very good for the drive. Clayton was very anxious to get to his grammy and papas home!

It happens to be hunting season, which makes my husband Jason very excited! Hayden was very excited also to learn that he was going to be able to bang bang a deer. He talked about it the entire time we drove. Everytime we stopped to eat or get gas, he got very upset because he wanted to get to papas so he could bang bang his deer.

So, today happened to be the day that papa bang banged a deer. Yes, papa shot a deer today, and hayden was SO excited to see this deer! Papa happened to buy Hayden a bb gun at Walmart so, Hayden took his gun up the hill (after papa alread shot it) and we snuck up on the sleeping deer, and hayden got to bang bang the deer! I have the best photos and I will upload them later.....I forgot my cord to upload, so I will have to get them put on a CD and upload them that way! Stay tuned! I promise before I leave here I will get them uploaded.

Well, I have talked to my mom and she has been busy around the shop getting things ready for Black Friday and the Santa's workshop that will be Saturday December 5th! Make sure to stop in and see what she is up to! Who knows maybe she will be giving some deals away like I do when shes on vacation....shhhhh don't tell her I said that!

Well, I hope everyone is doing good! We are having a blast! We are going to go visit Jason's grandparents today, and have dinner with his mom tonight! Busy Busy here! Hope you all have a great rest of your week, and a fun weekend!

xoxo

Busy Busy Busy!

I can't believe how busy we have been here lately!

This blogging can get away from you. Sorry I haven't been on for awhile! Well, today my mom kept Clayton all day for me and Hayden went to school so, I was here at the store all by myself.......So the question is did I get anything creative done? and the answer is NO.

See, yesterday was my day off, so I took Clayton to his re-check ear appointment at 10am., and then decided that I wanted to run to Old Time Pottery to look for some fall decorations for the store! So we headed to Ft. Myers, and I had a great time picking stuff up at Old Time Pottery (one of my most favorite stores!)

My intentions today were to take down all of the Halloween decorations, and to put up fall decorations, well that started a HUGE mess. I then decided that before I even attempted to decorate I needed to re-arrange some of the products in the store! So, I started re-arranging, and made a huge mess of the store. ( I knew I had till midnight to clean up) so after I had my mess cleaned up I could then start to decorate for fall!

So, long story short, I got the store cleaned up, and decorated before my croppers came in tonight!

You guys all know me well enough to know that when I clean out and re-arrange, I always find good stuff to put on sale and boy have I done a good job this time!

I have marked LOTS of papers down 50% plus added more papers to the 25 cent rack so, make sure to stop in and check out some of your favorite brands all at a discounted price! All thickers are still on sale to! Buy one get one FREE!

Stop in soon!

I'm just Sayin'

OMG, What a super FUN weekend! Kelly Goree was absolutely amazing! Thanks so much Kelly for visiting us in Florida! We hope that you had as much fun on your visit as we had with you!

Ok so some of you may be wondering why I named my title "I'm just Sayin'"......If I picked up one thing from Kelly from the weekend it would be her phrase "Im just Sayin'" and "Rock On". Our weekend started out great, Mom picked Kelly up from the airport and ran her by the shop, so I could meet her! The first thing she did was say hi Coleen, and acknowledged Clayton right away. He got TONS of lovin' from Kelly! What a lucky boy! after she was done lovin' on my little baby boy, she gave me a hug! I wouldn't have wanted the weekend to start out any other way!

Mom went and checked Kelly into her hotel, and then we freshened up and met Pam from Strawberry Fields in Cape Coral at Gulf Harbor CC for dinner.......It was absolutely amazing! (I'll post picts later) Pam's husband is an outstanding Chef! Thank you Pam and Norbert for such a wonderful dinner! The company was great, the sunset was perfect, and it started out the weekend just wonderfully!

Saturday was the "Fall" mini album at SF. It was crowded in there with 18 wonderful women who stayed on track, and worked very hard on thier adorable project! Thanks Pam for having us up for the day!

Sunday was the mini album "Boo to you" at Scrapbooks Etc! What an adorable project. It too was a very busy day with 20 women attending the class.

Kelly and mom started out the day with a walk on Bonita Beach, and then came in for a fun and exciting day of classes! Kelly was absolutely amazing!

For those of you who missed out on Kelly's unbelievable classes, there is nothing to fret about! We are in the process of getting another event scheduled with Kelly and some of here close scrapbooking friends! Stay tuned to the blog and emails about what is in the works!

For those of you who were able to come hang out for the day did you have fun? I sure did! It was quite spooky in here wouldn't you say? Kelly did an awesome job teaching her class! I promise to have all the photos posted soon!

Did I forget to mention that Kelly signed our wall??? Very Very Cool!

Have a creative day!

Mom picks her up from the airport and then they will be off for some lunch! Then we have dinner reservations with Pam at Strawberry Fields, Pams magnificant husband will be cooking a wonderfully prepared dinner.....I cannot even wait. My mouth is watering as I type this. Then its off to Strawberry Fields in Cape Coral bright and early on Saturday, for a fun day of classes using the newest CHA release Indian Summer.....I can hardly wait to see how the album turned out! I'm even more excited to see all of Pam's customers totally excited about Kelly being in the house! Sunday is Scrapbooks Etc's Day! I cannot wait!
