Quick Heads Up

Coleen stopped in today with baby Clayton, how exciting for you customers who got to see him. We just wanted to give you a quick heads up about some classes coming up in January even if we haven't set the dates yet.

A Monthly Class of Techniques. You will complete a 9x9 binder album to keep all you notes and new techniques in.

Also a Monthly Class for Kids. They will be doing a double page lay-out each month. At the end of the year they will have a complete album.

Don't think we are leaving you adults out. We will also be having a All About Me Monthly Class. We will be using all the newest things from Basic Grey.

Clayton Michael Peters

Clayton was born into this world on December 4th at 4:13 a.m. He weighed in at 7lbs 15oz. and 20 inches long. We are very excited to FINALLY have him here! He is just perfect! Hayden is a WONDERFUL big brother. He loves his baby brother very much and is quite the little helper. He loves to hold Clayton and give him lots and lots of kisses! I am doing well, and have been out and about a little.....Quick morning trips so we all get our naps at the same time!! I hope to be back to work by Feb 1st!

Sneak Peak

Check out this gorgeous album. Okay it's not the best picture. But it was the only one I had. This is the cover of the Dec 19th album class. The papers are by K & Co and they are a soft blue, minty green, light grey and cream colored collection. It uses beautiful butterflies and glittered - yes glittered patterned paper along with some intricate die cut patterned paper. That's what's on the cover. That's right no tedious hand cutting a pattern out of a piece of paper. It's all already die cut. The same is true of that pretty fairy tale butterfly you see in the top right corner - already die cut for you. This is one album you have to see in person to appreciate.

It's a boy!

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know Coleen ( My Daughter) had her baby on Dec. 4th at 4:13 A.M. A boy named Clayton Michael. Weighing in at 7lbs. 15oz. 20 inches long.
Mom, Dad and Big Brother Hayden are all doing just fine. Grandma on the other hand is overwhelmed with running the store, checking on the new family and Christmas shopping!

**New Stamp Teacher**

Mom and I are very excited to have fallen in the footsteps of

Sandy Sandrus. Sandy came to us with interest in teaching some stamp classes filled with technique for all of our stampers.

Here is more about Sandy:
Crafting in my life started at a very young age. I have been rubber stamping and designing greeting cards for over 15 years. I have fallen in love with all the wonderful papers that are out now, and it has made sharing ideas and techniques much more enjoyable. If you don't find me at a local store teaching, you might find me at the two local convention that are held each year teaching classes. Some of my work has even appeared in the crafting magazines.

Ornament Challenge:

So, mom put a challenge out to you all for Thanksgiving. Did you participate? We are asking you to bring in your challenge so, our judges can start judging! There is a $25.00 gift certificate on the line you know!

So, this month I decided to give you all a challenge.......Mine has nothing to do with scrapbooking except your creativity you use in your scrapbooks.

I was sitting here today watching mom make a few cute little ornaments to hang on my grandmas Christmas tree in her room at the nursing room she is at, and I thought to myself, what a great idea for old scraps that will fill my tree at home with the warmth of my creativity.

Well, my challenge to you is simple. Come up with some type of ornament using your scrapbooking supplies, papers, and embellishments. Bring them into the store to display on our tree, and after the 1st of the year we will vote, and the winner of the ornament challenge will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the store!

I hope you will join me on this challenge as we celebrate one of the most joyous seasons of the year!

December Classes

I took pictures of all of these great classes. They are all so beautiful you will not believe it. But alas my kids were playing with my cell phone and changed something on the camera and now the phone will not allow me to send the pictures. So I can't post them. So, so sorry. You'll just have to take my word for it. They are all gorgeous and if I could I would take them all. :)

Tuesday December 9th- Bo Bunny Acrylic album

Join the queen of acrylic mini albums Gerrianne Duke as she helps you create an adorable mini album but out by Bo Bunny Press. This mini album is Christmas themed but, is the PERFECT gift for that someone on your Christmas list who has everything. You will use the Fancy Pants Christmas line of papers, and embellishments. Stop in the store to see the adorable sample!

Friday Decmber 12th- Midnight Crop/Christmas Party Crop
Time: 5pm-midnight.
Cost: $15.00
Join us for our most popular crop. We have decided to mix it up this month and make it a Cookie Exchange Crop! Bring in 1 dozen of your favorite cookies to eat, and exchange with the other ladies that evening.
We will provide the dinner that night, and you'll have dessert to share! We can only hold 14 of you so, call to reserve your spot before it fills. Don't want to participate in the cookie exchange? that's ok, you can still stop in and crop!

Monday December 15th- Sandy Photo Christmas Cards
Time: 6:00-8:00
Cost: $25.00
These cards you have to stop in and see. These are the perfect cards for your photo cards this year. Stop in and see how WOW these cards are. You will complete 6 cards. 3 of which will be photo cards, and the other 3 will be using the same technique but stamping. Using a rubber stamp and matching template, you will create some very unique greeting cards. We will be using rubber stamps for a few cards and then explore using photos for the other cards. Stop by the store to see the finished cards. This Class to has already started filling so call to reserve your spot before it is too late!

Please bring: basic tool kit with adhesives to put cards together with. Seven or 8 (4 x 6) photos, these can be the ones that did not end up in your scrapbook. Pictures of flowers, animals and landscapes also work well.

Friday December 19th- Acrylic album using K&Co. Papers
Time: 6:00-8:00
Cost: $35.00
Do what you love, LOVE what you do!
Create a beautiful acrylic and chipboard peek a boo album by Tinkering Ink using K and Company's latest Lotus Collection. Please bring your basic tool kit. Please make sure you have liquid adhesive, and your favorite tape runner.
