Copics, Color That’s Hot Hot Hot!
Heat up your projects with Copic coloring. This hands-on class will focus on basic blending techniques along with unraveling the secrets of the colorless blender marker. You will have plenty of time to play as you use these techniques to create 2 cards featuring stamped images from some of the most popular stamp companies around.
Class fee includes: Instruction, cardstock for blending practice, stamped images, complete supplies for creating the cards and access to sketch markers for the duration of the class.
Please bring: Basic class kit – cutting tool or scissors and adhesive of your choice. If you would like to bring your own markers, please make sure they are labeled with your name.
Class times will be:
10:30 am-12:30 pm Copics, Color, That's Hot Hot Hot 1
12:30-1:30- Book Signing (Free)
2:00pm-4:00pm- Copics, Color That's Hot Hot Hot 2
Class Fee will be $35.00 per class
Class 1:
This class is geared toward the easy/intermediate techniques using your Copic Markers. In this class you will learn blasic blending in a large area, and the flicking technique. You will also color smaller areas using your black and red markers, which tend to be a little harder to use. In this class you will also work on some skin tones.
Reccomended markers are: R22, R24, NO, N2, N4, and N6. Y11, Y17,
Card 2: B21, B23, B26, G12, G14, G16, and YG11, YG13, YG17.
Class 2:
2:00pm-4:00pm
This class will be geared more for the intermediate/difficult coloring. In this class you will learn how to work with blending and coloring in a more difficult area. Each Card will be using blues, and also some red.
Card 1 Recommended colors:
E21, E93, B21, B23, B26, YG11, G12, G14, G16
Card 2: E21, E25, E27, R22, R24, R29, B21, B23, B26, Y11, Y15, Y17.
You will also be learning how to tone down your colors with your grays: N0, and N02
